Women's Community Clinic, Inc. : received
Letters MenuJune 22, 1976 Dear Townsend, It was a pleasure to talk with you on the phone the other day. As mentioned at the time, the large "glitches" in your Catalina Granite data of February 12-20, and March 17-18, appeared to proceed large fluctuations in some physiologic data from patients at Women's Community Clinic. The hemocrits of three separate groups of subjects showed large drops within the week following your "glitches." The three groups were: 15 normal control volunteers, and twoo groups of surgical patients, 15-20 patients in San Jose, and a smaller group (4 or 5) from San Fransisco. These were the only two large drops that have occured since February. It would be interesting to determine if these are mere coincidences, or if a relationship does indeed exist between the self-potential of the Catalina Granite and the physiologic responses of these patients. One might look for a single environmental influence common to both. At some convenient time in the future, we would like to enter your most recent data onto puched cards to facilitate comparison of these two data sets. The cost would be about $25.00. I'm looking forward to comparing these interesting data sets. Best regards, M. A.
